The Big Country Celebrity Quail Hunt is celebrating its 22nd Anniversary on February 10-13, 2011. All net proceeds are for the sole benefit of Disability Resources, Inc. (DRI). The hunt was established by Dr. Norman Dozier as a fundraiser for DRI and Dr. Dozier is still an amazing advocate for the disabled and DRI. All proceeds from the hunt, after expenses, benefit Disability Resources Incorporated.

General Chuck Yeager
On October 14, 1947 General Yeager became the first man to fly faster than the speed of sound.
During his career he has flown over 183 different types of aircraft.
He serves on numerous boards and is consultant for a number of corporations.
In 1976 he was awarded a peacetime Congressional Medal of Honor, and in 1985 President Reagan presented him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. General Yeager has attended EVERY Big Country Celebrity Quail Hunt.

Johnny Seay
Johnny Seay’s recording career started at the age seventeen in 1958. He recorded for six major labels, like Warner Bros., Columbia, Capital and Phillips among them. That was the same year he joined the "Louisiana Hayride". In 1960 he moved to Nashville, TN and through 1970 made many appearances o the Grand Ole Opry. Steve Kanaly
Steve Kanaly enjoys a challenge. Not only is he the successful actor and director who played "Ray Krebbs" on the long running hit television series, "DALLAS" [CBS-TV], and who starred as "J. D. Helms" in the syndicated African action/adventure series, "OKAVANGO", but also made his professional stage debut, headlining a production of "THE FOREIGNER, " as well as starred in a recurring role on the ABC soap opera, "ALL MY CHILDREN".
Steve owes his acting career to his familiarity with firearms. His expertise in shooting sports developed early in Steve's youth with an avid interest in clay target shooting competition as well as his tour of duty in the Vietnam combat zone where Steve served in the U. S. Army, attached to the 1st Air Cavalry Division as an infantry radio operator.
James Partee, Jr.
Nationally acclaimed, award-winning artist JAMES PARTEE, JR. ranks amongst the top wildlife, botanical and sporting Artists in the country and his distinctive talent is truly exemplified through his beautiful paintings rendered in watercolor, oil and acrylic mediums. Partee is the recipient of over 60 states, local and national awards during the past three decades. He was selected to WHO'S WHO IN WILDLIFE ART in the 1980s and he has won 15 STAMP/PRINT COMPETITIONS to date. He was selected GEORGIA GOVERNOR'S "ARTIST OF EXCCELLANCE" in 1986, QUAIL UNLIMITED'S 10 ANNIVERSARY ARTIST, WATERFOWL USA'S 10TH ANNIVERSARY ARTIST and the winner of the GEORGIA STATE DUCK STAMP all in the same year. Partee has created 21 national TICKET PRINTS AND SPONSOR PRINTS FOR DUCKS UNIMITED and in 1991 Partee was selected to the PEOPLE OF THE CENTURY "'PERMANENT ART COLLECTION" of the SMITHSONIAN MUSEUM as well as numerous other accolades.
Anne Lockhart
A multi-talented actress, producer, writer and director, ANNE LOCKHART can look back 100 years to trace her theatrical roots. The fourth generation of performers to carry the Lockhart name, she follows great grandfather John Coates Lockhart, grandparents Gene and Kathleen Lockhart and her mother June Lockhart, best known for her years on the series Lassie and Lost in Space.
Beginning her career at the age of four, ANNE has appeared in many stage, film and television productions. She starred in the spectacular series BATTLESTAR GALACTICA and has had recurring roles in the television series: BJ AND THE BEAR, Showtime’s A NEW DAY IN EDEN, KUNG FU: THE LEGEND CONTINUES, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL and DR. QUINN, MEDECINE WOMAN.
Zane Taylor
Following four generations of theatrical family tradition, Zane is a talented and classically trained young performer. Zane is great-grandson of actors Dub Taylor and Gene Lockhart; He is grandson of Buck Taylor and June Lockhart and son of actress Anne Lockhart and director/producer Adam Taylor.
He has appeared in Nickelodeon’s OLD WORLD LULLABY and the feature films HOLLYWOOD: IT’S A DOG’S LIFE, BUG BUSTER, BUDDY, CAHOOTS and ACTOR with Walter Koenig, and on television in MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE. He provided additional voice work for Disney’s THE ANIMAL and STICK IT, and recently completed the Montana PBS production of MOMENT OF PEACE: THE JEANETTE RANKIN STORY. Stage appearances include Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival Productions of JULIUS CAESAR, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM and THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR, MACBETH, as well as Santa Susana Repertory Company’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Zane is an accomplished athlete; an avid outdoorsman, hunter and rock climber; Zane regularly competes in Motocross, Shooting Sports and Rodeo Events.
Marshall Teague
Marshall Teague is a 28 year veteran of Hollywood. His career has covered movies, television, soap operas and stage.
Marshall has worked in recognized films such as "Roadhouse", "Armageddon", "What Matters Most". In television shows like "Pensacola Wings of Gold", "Walker, Texas Ranger", "Sliders", "Babylon 5". As well as several Movies of the Week such as "Monte Walsh", "Rough Riders", "Crossfire Trails". Marshall’s daytime TV credits include "Days of our Lives", and "The Bold and the Beautiful".
Marshall just finished filming the new original night time soap "The American Heiress" on My Network TV, due to premier Tuesday nights starting in March of 2007.
Marshall is also a proud Navy Veteran and former Deputy Sheriff. He has used those great experiences to help mold the characters he has portrayed.
Lindy Teague
Lindy Teague has done extensive runway work and modeling internationally and domestically. Campaigns with various hair care companies, Sebastian International, Trevor Sorbie, and bridal spreads, Box London Jeans, Sappora Beer, Sony, and most recently Mercedes.
Music videos for Paula Abdul and three Melissa Etheridge among various others. Television and Film including "Viper", "Harts of the West", "The Good Life", various "Bay Watch", and ESPN's outdoor show "Under Wild Skies". Movies "Lone Tiger", "Love Affair", and most recently "Ghost Rock".
John Di Santi
You may recognize actor/artist Johnny Di Santi's name from his many credits in film and television. In addition to big screen hits, Johnny has also appeared on several top rate television shows including ER, NYPD Blue, and Baywatch. Between roles, Johnny spends his time creating beautiful pieces of art through the process of Wood Turning. His one of a kind creations have received many honors in the art world and can be found in the collections of many Hollywood celebrities.
Robert Guy (Bobbie) Miranda
Robert has appeared in over eighty motion pictures, costarring with the likes of Robert Di Niro in the cult classic Midnight Run, Whoopi Goldberg in Sister Act, Timothy Dalton in The Rocekteer, and Richard Dryfuss in Neil Simon's Lost in Yonkers. He has also worked opposite Sean Connery, Kevin Costner, Al Pacino, and Harvey Keitel.
Ray Kelly
Ray Kelly is a multi-talented artist born and raised in South Dakota. Self-taught, he works mostly in graphite and colored pencils, but is also an accomplished sculptor working with bronze casting. His topics vary from western to wildlife, and rodeo scenes. He also does much commission work. Ray has done several movies and made for television shows.
Ray has received many recent awards such as being named the artist for the PBR [Professional Bullriders] for 2003, 2004 and 2005. He is also the artist of the year in 2003 and 2004 for the Jackson County Minnesota Pheasants Forever. He was the recipient of the "Point of Light Award" for 2004. Rays artwork has won awards ranging from "Best of Show" to "Peoples Choice Awards". He was the Dodge National Circuit Finals Artist from 1998-2001. He has done artwork for Ducks Unlimited, Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund, Quail Unlimited, Casey Tibbs Museum and many other organizations.
Michael Collins
Michael was raised in South Carolina where he learned to love the outdoors at the side of his stepfather, a true conservationist. This continual appreciation has been demonstrated in all fields of his work.
Through his love of all things outdoors, Michael, learned to not just paint what he saw, but to make it as lifelike as possible. Taking great pride in the smallest of details is evidenced in being able to see the finger nails on the hand of a Mexican officer holding a sword engraved on his famous Alamo gun {Clouds of War}, to a flea on the collar of a commissioned dog portrait.
